Another beautiful soul has joined the Daisy Angels. Sweet Violet aka Lady Vi Belle went to the rainbow bridge yesterday (March 29th). Violet was the loved and cherished fur daughter of our dear friend and adopter, Jim Johnson. Many will remember Violet, she was a long time resident at Daisy’s Place until she found her forever dad, Jim. She was dearly loved by her foster parents, Kate and Gaylen, but when she finally found Jim, we knew she was HOME. From the moment Violet and Jim met, it was love at first sight and for two years she lived the life of luxury as a pampered Southern Belle. Violet had a series of health issues and received the very best medical care thanks to her loving dad. She was a gentle old soul who loved everyone and became the grandmother to Jim’s other rescue fur babies – including small pups and kittens. We’re so very grateful that Violet was so well loved and she went to the rainbow bridge peacefully with her dad by her side. Two years may seem like a relatively short time, but for Violet it was a lifetime and she went to the bridge knowing that she’s a cherished family member. Violet will live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew and loved her. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jim as he grieves the loss of his beloved Violet.
